The Westin Arlington Gateway is proud to be the Official Training Camp Hotel of the Washington Capitals. Just one block from The Westin Arlington Gateway, the Kettler Capitals Iceplex is home to the Washington Capitals. Guest's can often enjoy catching the Capitals' practices, which are held at the Kettler Iceplex most mornings during the hockey season.

Kettler Capitals Iceplex is a state-of-the-art facility connected to Ballston Common Mall. In addition to the 20,000 square foot training center for the Capitals, the Iceplex features two indoor NHL-sized ice rinks, office space, locker rooms, a full-service ProShop, a Capitals Team Store, a snack bar, and space for special events. The Kettler Capitals Iceplex offers daily skating open to the public in addition to hosting a Ticketmaster outlet for Capitals games.You can purchase Capitals game tickets at the front desk Monday-Saturday 10am-6:30pm and Sunday 12pm-6pm
